Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training on vendor management, covering topics such as evaluation and selection, performance measurement, negotiation techniques, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation and procurement ethics and compliance. The consultant will work with local NGOs to review and develop their internal HR policies and enhance their systems and procedures according to best practices.

The job requires a strong understanding of local Syrian organizations' context, knowledge of European and American donors' HR regulations, and experience in organizational development. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation, facilitation, and training skills, as well as fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage). This is an ongoing recruitment, and applications will be screened on a regular basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver procurement management training to IRC partners
  • Develop and implement vendor evaluation and selection processes
  • Conduct mentoring/coaching sessions with local NGOs
