Sourcing Specialist

At SunExpress, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement Team. As a key member of our Administrative Affairs team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the procurement of administrative goods, services, and supplies in line with organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, issue, and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Purchase Requests (PRs), and other procurement documents.
• Analyze bids and proposals, negotiate contracts, and make recommendations for supplier selection.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
• Resolve any issues related to vendor performance, including delivery delays, quality concerns, or pricing discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration or Economics from a reputable university.
• A minimum of 3 years procurement experience including knowledge of transactional purchasing.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. (German language would be an asset).
• Competent in the use of Microsoft O365 core applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Able to efficiently and effectively use ERP/MRPII type systems (including SAP MM) to perform transactional purchasing activities such as ordering, goods receipt transactions, etc.
