Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $66,488 per annum, based on the location and industry standards. This includes an annual base salary starting at USD 64,121, a variable post adjustment, and other benefits such as 30 days of annual leave, allowances for dependent family members, home leave, and an education grant for dependent children.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Early Warning and Response System (EWRS) by implementing comprehensive training modules, creating e-learning packages, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement digital tools and platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have a first university degree in Medicine or Public Health, or other health-related fields from an accredited institute. At least 5 years of experience working on the control and prevention of infectious diseases is essential, with at least 3 of the 5 years with international exposure.

You should also have expert-level knowledge of English and proven ability to successfully coordinate, manage, and lead projects, and build partnerships across agencies and organizational departments in the context of health emergencies.
