Tbi bank is on a journey to transform its processes through data-driven decisioning. As a Data Scientist in Pricing Projects, you will play a key role in developing and scaling elasticity-based pricing models for consumer lending products across multiple markets. Your insights will directly shape lending decisions, optimize profitability, and contribute to the bank's target.

What You'll do:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models (Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, ElasticNet, deep learning) to estimate price elasticity, conversion probability, and risk metrics across loan products and customer segments
• Build and calibrate pricing models in collaboration with Pricing, Risk, and Product teams to optimize APR, approval rates, margin, and default risk
• Implement AI-driven frameworks to analyze customer behavior, forecast key KPIs (CLTV, NPL, loss given default) and identify risk patterns
• Run A/B tests and simulations to validate new pricing strategies and measure their impact on profitability and customer experience
• Develop data pipelines and dashboards for model monitoring, explainability (e.g. SHAP, LIME), and real-time performance tracking
• Collaborate with engineering and BI teams to integrate models into production systems (Provenir, Product Factory Engine, Snowflake)
• Support the Pricing Center of Excellence by developing methodologies, KPIs, and governance frameworks for responsible AI use
• Promote personalized, AI-driven pricing through customer segmentation and behavioral insights
• Ensure consistency in pricing logic, risk assessment, and compliance across markets (Bulgaria, Romania, Greece)

What you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• MSc or PhD in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline will be considered an advantage
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Quantitative Analyst within banking, fintech, or pricing analytics
• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels) and SQL
• Experience working with tools such as Provenir, Snowflake, or Power BI will be considered an advantage
• Proven experience in model interpretability and feature importance analysis (e.g., Random Forest relevance)
• Hands-on experience with elasticity modeling, A/B testing, and optimization techniques
• Familiarity with consumer lending products, credit risk scoring, and customer segmentation techniques will be considered an advantage
• Exposure to marketing analytics or cross-functional pricing optimization will be considered an advantage
• Excellent data storytelling skills and the ability to translate analytical insights into commercial actions
• Analytical approach, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
• Team player with a proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset
