Responsibilities

• Analyze data generated within the Hepsiburada search ecosystem, both structured and unstructured, to discover insights and foresight that will fuel growth strategies in commercial search operations or product development.
• Work with various business units to understand business objectives, data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Conduct statistical analysis and programming using python and SQL
• Design and run randomized controlled experiments, analyze the results
• Communicate with relevant teams regarding project progress, risks & issues, and mitigation alternatives

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Statistics, computer science, engineering, Econometry, etc.)
• 10+ years of work experience in data analytics , data engineering or business intelligence fields.
• 10+ years hands on experience with SQL
• Strong data management skills (data preparation, data quality management etc.)
• Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills (analyze, interpret, model etc. )
• Strong level of statistics concepts and methods knowledge
• 5+ years hands on experience with one or more programming languages: Python, R
• Eager to learn and share knowledge with others

Preferred Qualifications

• Having experience in e-commerce or internet technologies industries especially worked with the Marketplace domain.
• Experience in A/B Test Methodologies and Funnel Analysis
• Experience and strong understanding in Big Data Environments (preferably BigQuery)
• Experience with building interactive visualization and BI platforms (preferably Looker Studio and Qliksense)
• Knowledge of algorithms in anomaly detection, demand forecasting, optimization etc.
• Basic knowledge on machine learning algorithms
