Right now, we're looking for a new colleague to join our Operations Team in the position of Associate Specialist, Ocean Product & Pricing. 

This role will provide the forwarding business with International Logistic Product support, acting as product lead to ensure rates, tariff and rules are maintained, updated, and uploaded timely and accurately in the Rate Management System (RMS).

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:  

  • Support vendor rate and capability analysis
  • Continual review of current and potential carriers to maintain a robust carrier portfolio specific to the region
  • Continuous review and implementation of tariff rule management
  • Participate in bids and RFPs
  • Provide competitive reports for sales team to increase selling and customer acquisition opportunities
  • Review and analyse key customer profitability reports on regular basis and provide input to improving margins and cost optimization or rationalization
  • Responsible for maintaining APLL rules, tariff and rates in the RMS 
Qualifications

What we are looking for: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and mindset
  • Good Excel skills
  • Self-confident individual
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in English is required
  • German knowledge as a nice to have
  • Knowledge about CargoWise and Cargosphere systems is a plus
