Patient Coordinator

Laura Dental Center is seeking an experienced and highly organised Patient Coordinator Team Leader to oversee our team of Patient Coordinators and ensure the highest standards of patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the patient coordination team, optimising clinic operations, and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision:
• Lead, mentor, and support the Patient Coordinator team, ensuring high performance and professionalism.
• Provide guidance on patient interactions, problem-solving, and process improvements.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and training as needed.
Patient Experience & Communication:
• Ensure a seamless and positive patient journey from arrival to post-treatment follow-up.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Oversee communication channels at reception and ensure all inquiries are handled promptly.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for patient-related issues, resolving concerns proactively.
Operational Management:
• Report directly to the Management
• Ensure all patient documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance with health and quality standards.
• Coordinate patient appointments and transfers, optimising the clinic schedule.
• Ensure treatment rooms are maintained to required standards and address any issues.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and implement best practices.
• Prepare reports for Management on patient experiences, operational challenges, and team performance.
• Communicate Management decisions to the Patient Coordinator team and ensure proper implementation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Proven minimum 2 years experience in a patient coordination, administrative, or customer service role, with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to work six days a week as part of a shift schedule.
• High level of emotional intelligence and ability to manage stressful situations.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to leadership.
• A degree in relevant fields such as language, literature, culture, teaching, translation, or interpreting, or a foreign language certification (B2 level or equivalent, such as YDS), is preferred.
