This is a part-time, virtual intern position assisting with the writing and production of a variety of content on our online platforms. Your main responsibilities will include researching ideas and facts pertinent to the content, writing blog posts and articles, and formulating attention-grabbing strategies to help spread awareness about GU Consultancy. If you have a passion for writing and have the talent for coming up with creative ideas, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content
  • Composing blogs in English that share topics varying from marketing/brand management trends and news to industry insights into the luxury fashion industry
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience and accompanying blog with aesthetically matching and content-relevant visuals
  • Identifying customers' needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content
  • Attending monthly meetings to determine the content calendar, and weekly meetings to follow up on the process

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator are a PLUS)
  • Advanced level in writing (i.e. must have an understanding of proper grammar and also be able to use creative diction and rhetoric to engage readers)
  • Enthusiastic about being up-to-date, willing to learn
  • An eye for visuals and aesthetic layout
  • Experience in using blog sites is a PLUS
  • Knowledge/interest in luxury fashion and current global marketing and brand management/branding trends

This is a learning environment; we do not expect you to know everything Applicants with prior knowledge relating to blog writing, digital marketing, or social media management are preferred, but we will train the right person who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and willing to learn

Please note: This is an unpaid internship with the hopes of turning into a paid position. We will provide letters of recommendation and the opportunity to network and grow.
