General Billing Associate– Job Description

Location: İstanbul

The General Billing Associate is responsible for providing high-quality support to both internal and external customers by addressing billing-related inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate account maintenance. This role requires, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound judgments when determining appropriate courses of action.

What You Will Do

  • Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct basic research to identify the root cause of billing issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and process billing adjustments and corrections as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers (internal and external) to provide accurate information and ensure satisfaction.
  • Review billing data to confirm accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Maintain documentation and records of all billing activities and adjustments.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues and suggesting process enhancements.

What You Will Need

  • Previous experience in billing, customer service is an advantage.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with billing or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English will be considered an asset.
