Job Description Summary:
+ Operating Unit-wide platforms while markets integrate, execute, and track performance with speed and rigor while developing local content, partnership and experiences.
Focus, Scope, & Impact:
Own and elevate media strategy, planning, buying, and optimization for the portfolio, turning media into a competitive growth advantage through precision, retail media acceleration, and superior ROI.
- Media Strategy & Planning: Lead end-to-end media strategy and planning . Translate category and connection strategies into high-impact, full-funnel media plans. Drive the shift from reach-led planning to audience-based, outcome-led, addressable media.
- Media Buying, Optimization & Outsmarting: Own media buying, leveraging scale, partnerships, and negotiation power. Continuously optimize media in-flight using data, signals, and performance feedback. Drive media outsmarting through smarter channel mix, timing, formats, and contextual relevance.
- Retail Media Acceleration: Lead retail media strategy and activation, integrating shopper, commerce, and media signals.
- Deploy connections capabilities from global/ OU. Leverage 1PD/2/3PD, advanced analytics, AI, and MarTech to improve targeting and effectiveness. Own OESP approach , media measurement, ROI, and incrementality frameworks.
- Elevate agency performance and data maturity, ensuring future-ready capabilities.
Experience & Critical Requirements
- Significant media experience (7-10 years+) and agency management
- Great to have : experience in relevant marketing disciplines like creative strategy, connections, category/brand positioning
- Led projects and capabilities that leverage Digital/ Data/ AI as edges
