As the Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing a world class accounting & tax service to our clients in Turkey. Through work for various clients from different industries, you will have the opportunity to enrich your knowledge of financial complexities. You will get industry best practice here and be up to date with the latest accounting standards and local legislations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing daily accounting transactions of clients
  • Performing intercompany reconciliation and ensure compliance with group GAAP requirements
  • Maintaining reconciliations with related and third parties
  • Preparing Tax Returns And Other Compliance Requirements,
  • Preparing payrolls for clients’ employees
  • Coordination and communication with shared service centers and clients’ tax teams resident abroad
  • Coordination and communication with clients’ tax office

About you

The successful candidate possesses deep knowledge of Turkish accounting & tax regulations coupled with exemplary people skills. Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.

Ideally you are meeting following hiring criteria:

  • University degree in Business Administration or Economics (English curriculum is a plus).
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience with Turkish GAAP (Experience in an outsourcing firm will be considered an asset)
  • SMMM qualification or equivalent is an asset
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Payroll knowledge will be considered an asset
  • Very good computer literacy, specifically Excel and any of the ERP systems;
  • Open-minded, pro-active and with problem-solving attitude
