RINA is currently recruiting for a Turkey Railway Junior RAMS Engineer to join its office in Istanbul within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.

Mission

The Junior RAMS Engineer focuses on supporting the development, implementation, and management of RAMS processes across various project phases. The role involves conducting risk assessments, managing documentation, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Junior RAMS Engineer works closely with RAMS engineers, senior RAMS engineers, and project teams to contribute to the reliability and safety of systems and components.

Key Accountabilities

Supporting Documentation and Deliverables:

- Support to the development and review of key RAMS deliverables including safety plans, hazard logs, and reliability reports.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout all project phases.

- Ensure all documentation meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborating with Stakeholders:

- Work closely with project teams, suppliers, operators, and relevant authorities to ensure effective collaboration on RAMS-related matters.

- Participate in safety-related meetings, providing input and coordinating safety efforts.

- Foster strong working relationships with all stakeholders to support project objectives.

Testing and Commissioning:

- Contribute to ensuring that safety requirements are met during the testing and commissioning phases of projects.

- Review and assess test plans and results to validate system reliability and safety.

- Support troubleshooting and resolution of safety issues identified during testing.

Reporting and Communication:

- Provide regular updates on RAMS activities, progress, and issues to project managers and stakeholders.

- Communicate safety-related issues, risks, and recommendations effectively to all relevant parties.

- Prepare and present reports and documentation in a clear and concise manner.

Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Mechanical EngineeringQualifications

- Basic understanding of RAMS methodologies and tools, including, but not limited to, FMECA, event tree analysis, and fault tree analysis.

- Basic knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., EN 50126, ISO 26262, IEC 61508) that govern safety and reliability in the specific industry.

- Relevant internship or project experience in RAMS or a related field.

- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to RAMS.

- Ability to develop, review, and maintain RAMS documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
