YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Collections
  • The duties include collection contacts to customers with different channels (calls, emails, portals…) in a fast paced time plan in contact & harmony with financial solution manager.
  • Ensure documentation, monitoring, and traceability of customer contact results at customer / invoice level.
  • Log Promise to pay at invoice level: amount, date, possible installments, payment method, payment advise.
  • Monitor and drive proactive collection efforts for customers which meet pre-notification conditions.
  • Timely follow up actions on unsuccessful collection customer contacts.
  • Negotiate payment plan and forward cases to legal as appropriate per Bayer policies and procedures.
  • Continue Collections efforts as per the collection strategy, following the standard operating procedures of the Bayer processes.
  • Document disputed items reported thru the collection efforts and follow up on resolving disputes whenever a collection effort is needed.
  • Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos.
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Credit Management and Accounts Receivable team.
  • Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
  • Must communicate & follow up effectively with other departments regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers, distributors, sales and other client stakeholders.
  • Manage the Claims and Disputes for the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Creation/Analysis/Investigation of claims/disputes based on the Bayer standard procedures and processes.
  • Escalate non-routine issues to financial solution manager for problem resolution.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance/streamline business processes.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with targets.
  • Research open/new deductions to identify the reason and code it as per backup received from customer.
  • Follow-up on the deductions where no backup is received from customer.
  • Coordinate with other teams within Order-to-Cash or Supply Chain Management to obtain the necessary information to resolve claims/disputes.
  • Ensure a healthy customer ledger in terms of matching claim/dispute related debits and credits.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve high priority cases following the Bayer guidelines and procedures.
  • Analyze backup documentation to ensure deduction reasons are encoded correctly.
  • Results are communicated to the client representative and customer in a timely and effective way.
  • Ensure daily completion of work and share best practices with peers.
  • Contribute A/R KPIs and take proactive actions to have an efficient working capital cycle and to reduce impact of overdue and write downs in collaboration with financial solution manager.
  • Support establishing customer focus with the overall goal of customer satisfaction.
  • Take an active role in preparing KPI and credit reports for B2C.

WHO YOU ARE

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Min. 3 years job experience in finance, credit management, risk management, or order to cash.
  • Customer oriented approach and strong communication, information management, and analytical skills with commercial team and customers.
  • Developing strong working relationships with stakeholders, the O2B community, and customers.
  • Knowledge of credit management related tools and IT systems.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to interface with third parties/development partners.
  • Strong command of English and Turkish and proficiency in MS Office applications are a must.
