What you will do
The Project Manager – HVAC & IREF Systems is a key role directly reporting to the Operations Director Turkey and Caspian. You will be based in Istanbul and will be a part of a growing team, responsible for driving the growth of business for HVAC & IREF Systems in the Turkey and Caspian region.
You will manage the project management team on designing and execution of projects. You will need to monitor the assigned engineering projects, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications. Daily interactions with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field will be essential.

How you will do it
As an experienced Project Manager, you should have expertise in project executions and complex knowledge of designing HVAC & IREF solutions involving Chillers, AHU, FCUs and Compressor. You have to:

  1. Initiate and respond to contractual issues throughout the contract and project phases.
  2. Monitor project progress, prepare project progress reports, and represent the company in client project, quality, and EHS meetings.
  3. Handle formal (letter) and informal (verbal) communication with clients, process invoicing, and collect payments from clients.
  4. Prepare technical submittals and submit them to clients. Responsible for the production and issuance of design drawings/calculations.
  5. Prepare and comply with project quality plans and Inspection & Test Plans, ensuring full compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
  6. Assume full responsibility for cost management of the projects, prepare and submit monthly cost reports to senior management for review.
  7. Initiate the change process to manage variations to the contract and follow the project to completion, ensuring final payment.
  8. Ensure key milestone dates are met; if delays occur, develop a plan to bring the project back on track.
  9. Manage all allocated staff and resources to complete the project on time and be responsible for requests for resources within the budgeted allowance.
  10. Develop and train allocated staff.
  11. Be conversant with company and client QEHS policies/procedures and ensure that operatives understand and implement them in their responsible areas.
  12. Liaise with QA/QC and EHS managers on all aspects of Quality and EHS.
  13. Prepare and submit project completion feedback reports to the sales department.
  14. Monitor progress of sub-contracted works where applicable and ensure all QEHS documents are available at the point of use, particularly project-specific QEHS documents on-site.
  15. Ensure complete project data/records are archived after project completion and forwarded to the IS department for effective archiving.
  16. Address non-conformities in materials/products per applicable management system procedures, taking appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  17. Ensure needed inspections and tests of products are performed, and inspection & test records are maintained before handing over products to customers.

What we look for
Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline from a reputable university.

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the execution of HVAC systems.

• Recent experience of working at a leadership level in the Turkey and Caspian region.

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.

• Good interpersonal, negotiation, labor management, and influencing skills.

• Ability to determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost-effective solutions.

• Proven ability to produce high-quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use.

• Fluency in the English language is essential.

• Strong decision-making skills.
