Responsibilities

About the role

The Snr Technology Partner supports the Account Manager (AM) in the areas of lead generation, opportunity identification, definition and qualification, promotion, negotiation, and closing (upon delegation from AM) on large, complex solutions related to this field of expertise. Work function is inclusive of creating business value by supporting the development of both technical and commercial solutions that drive multi-year service contracts. Solutions typically include situational analysis assessment, business and infrastructure alignment plan, transformation/optimisation program, solution architecture design, life-cycle management services, and ongoing operational support and optimisation. The Snr Technology partner should focus mainly on helping customers assess and make plans to adopt ICT and digital services in their IT environment, with the final intent of positioning Company's Business Services capabilities in this space.

  • Maintain a broad degree of technical knowledge of all Company's Business Services products and industry, services and solutions sets
  • Understand the customers' business, strategy, needs and solution requirements, and translate these into Company's services and solution blocks.
  • Through wide technology insight and customer industry awareness, the Pre-Sales Solution Partner guides and influences customers on selected Company's services and value propositions.
  • Bid Response Support and Processes
  • Discuss with and challenge the internal product & delivery organizations when required to develop solutions and/or approach which are not yet available but crucial to win the (potential) customer's business.
  • Ensure the overall solution created is truly seen as an end-to-end solution by the customer. This includes orchestration across OBS business lines, domains, factories, technology partners and 3rd parties as a part of the overall end-to-end solution.
  • Leads the production of a corresponding strategy, design and cost structure incorporating existing customer services that delivers an innovative and compelling solution for the customer. This includes activities such as defining solution strategy, identifying required solution resources, leading the solution team to a validated solution, proposal testing and costing.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the external tools that are required in conjunction with internal tools, systems and processes in order to develop quality/approved technical proposals to customers as this may be required from time to time in local language.

Qualifications

"On top of" current technology trends driving digital transformation.

Very good understanding of Networking/SD-WAN and Cyber Security is a must.

Support customers in finding solutions to their ICT and/or digital transformation needs (Network/Connectivity, SD Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Cloud, Data, IoT, Collaboration).

The Snr Technology Partner should be knowledgeable in the technology ecosystem of SDWAN/SDx partners (Cisco, Fortinet, etc.) with a clearly demonstrated ability to advise customers on optimal plans to move towards the SD infrastructure environment.

Additionally, the Senior Technology Partner should have also been exposed to security architecture (SASE), MDR/EDR/XDR technologies, WAF, DDOS and Cloud Security concepts and standards.

Technology certifications from prominent vendors in Network, SD-WAN and Cybersecurity domains will be considered a plus.
