The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and commercially astute individual to join our Flights team from our new Istanbul office as an Airline Business Development Manager.

In this Role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and growing Local, Regional and Global airline relationships and passenger travel to and from Türkiye.
  • Working with internal departments, you will use local market knowledge and experience to influence our market strategy for flights.
  • As well as responsibility for contracting and negotiating airline content and commercials and performance, you will play a vital role in developing the Trip.com business.
  • Flexibility to travel will be needed as this role will require you to work locally in the market and with wider teams on a regional and global basis.
What you'll Need to Succeed:
  • 4-5 years of Travel Industry experience from airline/travel agency, distribution and/or sales and marketing.
  • Knowledgeable of a wide variety of content and markets served from Türkiye.
  • Ability to analyse internal and external data to guide commercial decision-making.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders to drive commercial objectives.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing and implementing initiatives to drive performance with key airline partners.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills.
  • Capable to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Results oriented and experience working to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Willing and able to travel.
