Corporate Communication and Sustainability Coordinator (Energy Sector)

Corporate Communication and Sustainability Coordinator's role is to define, implement, and oversee corporate communication and sustainability strategies; enhance the company's environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance; and foster effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Communication and Brand Management

  • Define corporate communication strategies to strengthen and manage brand perception.
  • Manage relationships with media, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop corporate reputation and crisis management strategies.
  • Design and implement internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement.
  • Strengthen corporate messaging through social media, press releases, and digital platforms.

Sustainability Strategy and Implementation

  • Develop and execute the company's long-term sustainability strategy.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve performance indicators in line with ESG objectives.
  • Integrate sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction, waste management, and ethical supply chain practices.
  • Prepare sustainability reports and ensure compliance with national and international standards (GRI, SASB, CDP, etc.).

Stakeholder Management and Reporting

  • Establish effective communication processes with investors, shareholders, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare sustainability and integrated reports in compliance with relevant legal regulations and international standards.
  • Develop social responsibility projects and partnerships to create a positive societal impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate communications, preferably in a multinational organization in the energy sector.
  • Experience in sustainability and ESG communications.
  • Experience with sustainability frameworks such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong content creation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different target audiences across various communication channels and written media.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate culture.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
