We are looking for a Welding Engineer for our heavy industry project taking place in Ust Luga, Russia.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering or related fields of Engineering,
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position,
  • Experience with steel structures, piping works and manufacturing industry,
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD programs,
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Russian is preferred,
  • Aiming to take part in international projects in the long term.

Job Description:

  • Determining and preparing Procedure Qualification Record (PQR),
  • Monitoring destructive and non-destructive tests of PQRs, creating the welding process in the light of the test results and taking the necessary actions,
  • Preparing and monitoring welder qualification tests to issue welder qualification certificates and ID cards,
  • Following the welder management process and preparing welder training,
  • Preparing and monitoring the selection process for consumables and new welding machines,
  • Managing the welding school (material, machine, consumable, equipment etc.) and organizing personnel,
  • Conducting essential training to implement improvements in the welding area according to project requirements.
