Position Overview:

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in embedding security into every stage of our software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of automated security practices, championing a security-aware culture throughout the organization, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This role requires a deep understanding of both development and operations, as well as a strong commitment to security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Implementation: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Security Integration: Integrate security tools and processes into the CI/CD pipeline to automate security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.
• Automation & Orchestration: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Monitoring & Performance Tuning: Implement monitoring solutions to track application performance and system health; recommend optimizations based on analysis.
• Deployment Management: Oversee the deployment of applications into production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery from failures.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with software developers and system engineers to ensure seamless integration of development processes.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide Level 2 technical support for production issues; perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of systems architecture, processes, and procedures for future reference.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with relevant Fintech industry standards in Türkiye and regulations by implementing and maintaining security controls, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevSecOps or related role with a strong focus on CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools especially for GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, etc.
• Proficiency in security testing embedded into SDLC.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for automating infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, Python, Bash for automation tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing development workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
