About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our Finance Team as a leading disruptor in the bar tech landscape, as recognized by CB Insights. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial direction of our company and contribute to its growth and success.

You'll be responsible for:

  1. Cash Flow Management: Monitoring cash flow, tracking transactions, and regularly reviewing internal financial reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Receivables Follow-up: Timely management of cash flow and follow-up on receivables to maintain a healthy financial position.
  3. Forecasting and Analysis: Analyzing and forecasting the future cash flow of the company, taking corrective action if necessary to maintain financial stability.
  4. Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and reports to department managers and the CEO, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
  5. Savings Initiatives: Identifying opportunities to develop cost-saving measures without compromising service quality or efficiency in budget expenditure items; implementing these initiatives after CEO approval.
  6. Compliance and Regulation: Managing local, state, and federal reporting requirements, including tax filings, to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.
  7. Financial Communication: Collaborating with auditors to guarantee adherence to all local regulations and best practices; analyzing and communicating monthly financial results with the CEO & COO, suggesting updates and improvements to accounting systems and invoicing processes.
  8. Strategic Leadership: Providing strategic financial guidance to the organization, supporting commercial targets and profitability goals through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  9. Reporting and Deadlines: Preparing management reports within tight deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail throughout the process.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • +5 years of experience in finance-related fields, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles and analysis.
  • Familiarity with financial and statistical software, showcasing your ability to leverage technology for enhanced performance.
  • An excellent command of English, facilitating clear communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in financial and accounting principles, enabling informed decision-making and risk assessment.
  • The ability to analyze market trends and provide actionable advice, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Attention to detail and the capacity to maintain accuracy under pressure, ensuring reliable financial information.
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with an emphasis on detail-oriented work, to deliver high-quality financial insights.
  • An exceptional ability to present complex financial information and plans in a clear, concise manner, making it accessible to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to efficiently manage and communicate financial data.
