Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team at Siemens Mobility. As a key member of our cloud operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: You will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS (preferred) or Azure, applying best practices and maintaining compliance standards.
  2. Automate Cloud Infrastructure Provisioning: You will automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  3. Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and delivery of cloud applications.
  4. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement APIs, ensuring efficient performance and scalability.
  5. Design and Implement MLOps Pipelines: You will design and implement ready-for-production MLOps pipelines.
  6. Monitor and Manage Cloud Environments: You will monitor and manage cloud environments, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
  7. Maintain Detailed Documentation: You will maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, deployment pipelines, and operational processes.
  8. Proactively Exchange Knowledge: You will proactively exchange knowledge with Siemens Mobility stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science: You must have a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical and electronics engineering or equivalent experience.
  2. Hands-on Experience in Cloud Development: You must have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cloud development, on AWS, Microsoft Azure and DevOps.
  3. Proficiency in Cloud Platforms: You must be proficient in cloud platforms: AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
  4. Knowledge of Automation Scripting: You must have knowledge of automation scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or Shell scripting).
  5. Solid Understanding of Containerization Technologies: You must have a solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
  6. Deep Knowledge of Cloud Computing Services: You must have deep knowledge of AWS/Azure computing, storage, logging and monitoring, auditing and security services.
  7. Experience with IaC Tools: You must have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  8. Experience with Automated CI/CD Pipelines: You must have experience with automated CI/CD pipelines with versioning, such as Git or GitLab.
  9. Experience in Relational and NoSQL Databases: You must have experience in relational and NoSQL databases, as well as data migration.
  10. Shown Understanding of Message Queuing: You must shown understanding of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable data stores.
  11. Certified in One of the Cloud Platforms: You must be certified in one of the cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure (Certified Solutions Architect/Developer/DevOps Engineer) etc.
  12. Good Knowledge of Network Architecture: You must have good knowledge of network architecture and configuration (VNet, subnet, IP ranges, Security Groups, Routing tables, Gateways, VPN, etc.)
  13. First-hand Experience of MLOps: You must have first-hand experience of how to deploy, monitor and improve ML applications in production (MLOps and LLMOps).
  14. Understanding of Cloud Security Standard Methodologies: You must have understanding of cloud security standard methodologies, including network security, identity and access management, and encryption in the cloud.
  15. Excellent Command of English: You must have excellent command of English.
