
Business Growth Strategist

About this role:
Gartner is a global research and advisory company that guides leaders through data-driven decisions. We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team, responsible for expanding our presence in the global market by acquiring new clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments. They will be skilled at cultivating trust-based relationships with C-level executives, understanding their mission-critical priorities, and delivering client value through industry insights.
This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure. The successful candidate will be given a territory of Large Enterprise prospects and will be accountable for quota responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Seek out and drive new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations across your territory.
Convert viable prospects into active Gartner clients, owning the full sales conversation and negotiation.
Align the right combination of insight, guidance, and practical tools to bring value to the partnership.
Continually build a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics.
Requirements:
5+ years' B2B sales experience, preferably within complex, intangible sales environments.
Business development or new client-acquisition experience in a selling role highly desired.
Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.
Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sale process.
