The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Coordinator for Humanitarian Response to lead our humanitarian programme in Gaziantep, Türkiye. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of women and girls in crisis-affected areas.
As Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating UNFPA's humanitarian programme, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of our response to the crisis in Syria. You will work closely with our teams in Gaziantep and Amman, as well as with other UN agencies, NGOs, and government partners.
- Coordinate the planning, implementation, and monitoring of UNFPA's humanitarian response in Gaziantep, Türkiye.
- Identify areas of UNFPA interventions and collaborate with humanitarian agencies and national partners to address the SRH and GBV needs of women and girls in Syria.
- Oversee the preparation of UNFPA inputs to coordination meetings and other related to the humanitarian response.
- Ensure timely liaison with operations and programme teams to monitor effective and timely distribution and utilization of emergency RH kits, dignity kits, and other commodities.
