We are seeking an Associate Operations Officer to provide operational and analytical support to our operations in Turkey. The successful candidate will contribute to project preparation and implementation, providing strategic analysis and briefing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the formulation and execution of country strategies and diagnostics;
  • Contribute to the partnerships with World Bank staff;
  • Provide operational and analytical support to projects;
  • Assist in engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, the private sector, and other organizations;

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in economics, finance, or related field;
  • At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in the Middle East and Central Asia region;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Turkish politics, history, social dynamics, culture, economics, local markets, and regulatory framework;
  • Ability to read and anticipate shifts in market trends;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Fluency in English and Turkish required;
