Engineering Team Lead (Software Development)

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to guide a team of Full Stack Developers building cloud-native platforms using .NET, Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, and micro frontends. This role combines technical leadership, delivery ownership, and hands-on engineering. The ideal candidate can architect scalable systems, coach engineers, and drive modern engineering practices including event-driven design, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Full Stack Developers across backend, frontend, and cloud engineering.
• Own the architecture and technical roadmap for microservices and micro frontend platforms.
• Provide hands-on guidance in .NET APIs, Azure cloud services, Kubernetes deployments, and event-driven integrations.
• Oversee front-end engineering standards including UI consistency, reusability, accessibility, and performance.
• Ensure high-quality code through reviews, best practices, and effective use of GitHub Copilot.
• Drive engineering execution, sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-team coordination.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Architecture to align on requirements and delivery milestones.
• Monitor production systems and guide teams through troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a lead/manager role.
• Strong expertise in .NET Core/.NET 6+, RESTful APIs, and distributed architectures.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering microservices and micro frontend solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, and event-driven patterns.
• Deep knowledge of front-end engineering using React/Angular.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitHub workflows, DevOps, and secure coding.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to coach and grow engineers.
• Experience delivering large, complex, multi-team projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with domain-driven design, event driven systems, and scalable API patterns.
• Background in observability and performance (App Insights, Open Telemetry).
• Prior experience introducing or scaling AI-assisted development practices.
