About the Role -
Content and Event Specialist

We are looking for a
Content and Event Specialist
who is passionate about business, leadership, and storytelling, and who will play an active role in shaping
editorial and event content
at Harvard Business Review Türkiye.

This role sits at the intersection of
content research, editorial planning and event development
, working closely with the editorial, studio, and production teams to deliver high-quality, insight-driven experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Researching, developing, and structuring
    content themes, agendas, and narratives
    for HBR Türkiye events, panels, and special projects
  • Supporting the creation of
    editorial content
    aligned with HBR Türkiye's thought leadership focus (business, leadership, technology, finance, sustainability, and strategy)
  • Conducting in-depth research on
    business trends, industries, and thought leaders
    in Türkiye and globally
  • Contributing ideas for new
    content formats, event concepts, and editorial angles
    , and supporting their execution with the wider team
  • Preparing background research, speaker briefs, topic outlines, and content flows for events and editorial projects
  • Coordinating with internal teams (editorial, studio, production, marketing) to ensure
    content quality and consistency
    across platforms
  • Supporting the operational side of events where needed, including speaker communication, agenda flow, and content coordination
  • Monitoring relevant publications, platforms, and market trends, and sharing insights regularly with the senior team
  • Translating and adapting basic content between
    Turkish and English
    (TR–ENG)

Profile & Skills

  • University graduate with
    2+ years of experience
    in content, editorial, research, publishing, media, or related fields
  • Strong
    research, writing, and content structuring skills
    , with curiosity for business and leadership topics
  • Ability to turn complex ideas into
    clear, engaging, and well-structured content
  • High level of interest in
    business, technology, finance, sustainability, and corporate leadership
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and coordination skills; collaborative and proactive working style
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing content across different formats
  • Fluency in English
    , both written and spoken
  • Positive attitude, strong team-player mindset, and eagerness to contribute to HBR Türkiye's overall impact
