Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Contract Manager
to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of commercial contracts while managing the end-to-end order process between suppliers, manufacturers, and customers. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to ensure that all contractual and operational requirements are met efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Preparation & Review:

Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts and related documentation in coordination with suppliers and customers. Ensure all terms align with company policies and commercial objectives.

  • Contract Negotiation:

Participate in negotiations with suppliers and customers to secure favourable terms, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines.

  • Order Management:

Oversee the entire order process—from order confirmation through production, shipment, and delivery—ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and effective communication with all stakeholders.

  • Operational Coordination:

Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics teams, and customers to monitor production schedules, shipment timelines, and delivery performance.

  • Documentation & Tracking:

Maintain complete and accurate records for all operational documents, including purchase orders, specifications, invoices, and shipment records.

  • Issue Resolution:

Handle and document supplier and customer requests, modifications, and claims. Ensure issues are resolved efficiently and in accordance with company policies.

  • Reporting & Process Improvement:

Provide management with regular updates on order and contract status, identify potential risks or delays, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (JD or contract management certification preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in contract management or legal operations, ideally within an international trade or commodity business.
  • Solid understanding of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and commercial contract law.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Proficient in contract lifecycle management tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
