What do we look for?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Expertise in planning, organizing, and executing corporate and social events
- Expertise in vendor management and coordination
- Ability to create event proposals and timelines
- Strong knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must
What will you work on?
- Discover new business opportunities to get involved in corporate events through networking, cold-calling, mailings and/or organise events in our own restaurants where we host large groups of people
- Serve as the point of contact for clients to plan events, detail events and help the operation teams to execute events.
- Process all catering requests in collaboration with the Operations, Finance and Production teams.
- Manage all events from start to finish, book, plan and execution functions.
- Prepare and monitor event budgets.
- Visiting agencies and corporate clients to achieve targeted budgets.
- Follow up the payments of the confirmed events.
- Follow up on clients' needs, expectations and changes of the event details.
- Maintain local client database, build and sustain relationships with new clients
