SalonAppy is a salon management platform built for modern beauty businesses. We help salons grow through smarter operations, education, and community-driven visibility. In Turkey, we are building a strong, trusted salon community — and we're looking for a Community Manager to lead this effort.

Role Overview

The Community Manager (Turkey) will be responsible for building, nurturing, and activating SalonAppy's salon community across Turkey. This role is fully focused on salon owners, educators, and industry leaders in the Turkish beauty sector.

You will be the bridge between SalonAppy and the salon world — online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

Community & Events

  • Plan and organize community events (meetups, workshops, panels, online events) for salon owners
  • Coordinate event logistics, guest lists, and post-event follow-ups
  • Build long-term engagement with salon professionals

Brand Ambassadors

  • Identify, onboard, and manage SalonAppy brand ambassadors
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with ambassadors
  • Coordinate collaborations, content participation, and event appearances

YouTube & Content Guests

  • Source and invite salon owners, educators, and industry experts for SalonAppy YouTube videos
  • Manage guest communication before and after shoots
  • Ensure guests align with SalonAppy's brand and educational goals

Content & Design Coordination

  • Follow up on video edits with the freelance graphic/video designer
  • Track deadlines, revisions, and final delivery
  • Ensure visual content matches SalonAppy's tone and quality standards

Industry & Education Relations

  • Identify and invite sectoral educators, trainers, and opinion leaders
  • Build relationships with academies, trainers, and beauty schools
  • Help integrate educational voices into SalonAppy's content and events

Required Qualifications

  • Living in Istanbul
  • Strong understanding of the Turkish beauty & salon industry
  • Excellent communication skills in Turkish (English is a plus)
  • Experience in community management, influencer relations, or event organization
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, relationship-driven, and detail-oriented

Nice to Haves

  • Existing network in the salon / beauty industry
  • Experience working with creators, educators, or YouTube content
  • Background in marketing, PR, or brand partnerships
  • Familiarity with freelancers and remote collaboration
