As
Cornerstone Türkiye
, we are partnering with our global client, a leading international manufacturing company, to recruit a
Human Resources Manager
who will own the
end-to-end HR agenda
for their İstanbul site.

This role covers both
hard HR
(compensation & benefits, payroll, contracts, reporting) and
soft HR
(talent, performance, development, engagement). The position is based on the
European side of İstanbul
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the
    full HR lifecycle
    for white- and blue-collar employees: recruitment, onboarding, offboarding.
  • Oversee
    payroll
    , compensation & benefits, social security, and all related reporting in line with local regulations.
  • Ensure
    labor law compliance
    , manage disciplinary processes, personnel files, and HR policies/procedures.
  • Act as a
    business partner
    to local management, providing guidance on organization, headcount, and people decisions.
  • Lead
    performance management
    cycles (goal-setting, mid-year, year-end), follow-up on development actions.
  • Support and drive
    talent management
    , succession discussions, training plans, and career development initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve
    employee engagement
    , run pulse checks, support communication and change-management activities.
  • Prepare
    HR dashboards and reports
    (turnover, absenteeism, headcount, overtime, etc.) and share insights with management.
  • Coordinate with regional/global HR teams on group HR projects, tools, and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in
    Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Labor Economics, Psychology
    or a related field.
  • 7+ years
    of progressive HR experience in an international or corporate environment, ideally in manufacturing/FMCG/industrial sectors.
  • Hands-on experience in
    payroll
    , compensation & benefits, personnel affairs, and labor law.
  • Solid exposure to
    soft HR
    : recruitment, performance management, training & development, engagement.
  • Comfortable working as the
    HR point of contact
    for managers and employees on a daily basis.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; confident with HR data and KPIs.
  • Excellent command of
    Turkish and English
    (written & spoken).
  • Located on / willing to work on the
    European side of İstanbul
    .
