Bahar Teacher Academy focuses on early foreign language education with a science-based approach, combining our experiences with materials and methods to inspire, lead, and pioneer change. Our activities in Istanbul, İzmir and Ankara aim to provide 1:1 lessons in children's own space at their homes with the best in terms of teaching staff, materials, curriculum, and development support, constantly evolving based on experience and scientific findings.
Role Description
This is a contract role for an Early Foreign Language Teacher at Bahar Teacher Academy in İstanbul European side. We're currently hiring teachers to teach at students' homes in Istanbul. The role involves teaching 1:1 lessons at students' homes with materials provided by our institution, laying the foundation for future individuals with critical thinking, intercultural communication skills, flexibility, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. This position is on-site in İstanbul in children's homes on the European side.
On-the-job training will be provided before start.
START DATE: November 2025
Qualifications
- Native or native-like proficiency in English
- Strong desire to work in early years foreign language teaching
- Experience in supporting holistic child development is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with children and parents
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual needs
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
