Project Manager 1

Job Summary:

The project manager leads a project(s) from initiation to the successful delivery of the project.

Plans, executes, and completes projects within project timelines and budget and reports on periodic progress to Senior Management. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manages all day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope.
• Lead the definition of project scope and goals in collaboration with team leads, senior management and stakeholders.
• Estimate the resources and detailed project plans needed for successful execution of the project.
• Responsible for planning and monitoring status of project deliverables in adherence with the organization's project management framework
• Recommend changes to the project budget and schedule when circumstances dictate.
• Responsible for ensuring all progress reports and project communication adhere to the standardized reporting procedures defined by the organization's project management framework
• Identify and resolve project issues. Escalate issues to senior management in a timely manner when necessary.
• Continually monitor and mitigate project risks.
• Effectively communicate and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Effectively applies PM methodology and enforces project standards
• Facilitates project meetings effectively

• Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
• Excellent communication and time management skills are essential
• Ability to manage vendors
• Ability to work independently (self-motivated)
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work with highly diverse workforce
• General Knowledge Of: Content and document management; business process modelling.
• Experience In: Google suite, Office suite, Jira, and Project Planning tools

• PMI certification preferred
• Bachelor degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years related project planning and cross-functional management experience
• Proficiency using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional
• Must have excellent communication skills including fluency in English with multi-lingual skills strongly preferred.

Language

• Fluency, both written and spoken, in English is required

• Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee regularly is required to sit. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear; use hands and arms to reach, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
