Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for the EMEA Emerging Markets – Market Access Lead located in Cairo, Egypt, Istanbul, Turkey, or Beirut, Lebanon.

In line with this ambition, J&J innovative medicine aims to provide optimized and timely access to its innovative portfolio ranging across key Disease Areas Strongholds (Oncology, Hematology, Immunology, CNS, and PAH).

EMEA EM is a diverse region with many challenges and opportunities and high medical and patient access needs to be addressed through differentiated and innovative initiatives.

EMAL will be in charge of optimizing pipeline value and time to launch, aligning leadership, and spreading vision across the organization. Will support the countries/clusters in delivering and sustaining optimal, accelerated market access and pricing for in-line Janssen's portfolio under responsibility in accordance with Janssen-One Design for Access objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to develop and implement EM Market Access strategy and roadmap focusing on future Pipeline.
  2. Play a strategic role at EM level setting and providing market access guidance aligned with EMEA strategy.
  3. Proactively develop EM HEMAR strategic objectives including filing execution plans for future launches and new indications, to ensure adequate, timely resourcing and actions.
  4. Define filing execution strategies and priorities based on cross-functional inputs.
  5. Take ownership of connecting with all relevant internal stakeholders (Global, EMEA, EM, Clusters) to secure accelerated filing.
  6. Follow through on the action plans in the key countries to secure accelerated approval.
  7. Drive the access acceleration agenda & In-line Priority Products successful reimbursement and patients' access including managing patient support programs.
  8. Protect Value by building customized value story for future products in liaison with EMEA and the countries.
  9. State and robust state-of-the-art pricing narratives and capabilities.
  10. Discuss and approve all countries discounting policies, published and net prices in line with EM governance and EMEA/Global pricing policies.
  11. Support the country/cluster in discussions with PRIT and Global Pricing and Access Committee (GPAC) if required.
  12. Work closely with EM and clusters commercial and MAF functions to ensure execution of Access plans for key products, securing a patient-centric approach and integrated cross-functional stakeholders management plans.
  13. Co-lead the strategic financial exercises preparation for EM key brands in terms of access & pricing assumptions.
  14. Update EM pricing and tendering SOP.
  15. Support shaping the evolving HTA environment to ensure access to innovation.

Qualifications:

Key Requirements:

  1. Good regional knowledge and ability to navigate in a VUCA environment.
  2. Good ability to work across groups in a coordinating role without direct line authority.
  3. Proven strong strategic and business building skills.
  4. Strategic thinking.
  5. Strong collaboration skills: engage with other EM functions and EM/EMEA HEMAR.
  6. Development and execution of regional Market Access & pricing strategy and local access plans.
  7. BA/BS degree in science and/or business-related discipline, or the equivalent.
  8. Good knowledge of health economic tools is a plus.
  9. 7+ years pharma/biotech experience.
  10. Extensive regional travel.
  11. Fluent in English; Arabic and French are a plus.
