
Senior HR Generalist

- Support payroll activities and reporting to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely in liaison with the provider (+/- 150 employees).
- Be responsible for all payroll processes, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes including updates to employee files (+/- 150 employees).
- Responsible for recruitment (blue and white collar) and employer branding activities.
- Handle and maintain all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to HR projects.
- Follow and apply legal developments & laws in HR subjects. Participate in the development of relevant HR rules and regulations in the organization.
- Participate in continuous improvement actions & KPI's.
- Prepare paperwork and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience, especially coordination about the training subjects.
- Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
- Care for employee satisfaction activities and listen to the problems or aid needs of the employees and offer solutions.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field.
- 6 years of experience as HR Generalist / Payroll officer.
- Very good knowledge of Turkey (Izmir free trade zone) labor law, social security and tax aspects.
- Positive, proactive, action-oriented.
- Good communication and a high sense of confidentiality.
- Strategic thinker with a strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English and Turkish.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, cultural awareness, and problem-solving approach.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems when necessary.
