Inside Sales Representative, Istanbul

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be part of a highly dedicated and professional commercial team, which is responsible for retaining as well as growing P&O Ferrymasters customer base across Europe. The main purpose of your role will be to acquire good quality new business from existing and potential clients, ensuring that at all times revenue opportunities are maximised. You will proactively identify and secure additional loads in collaboration with the operational team.
Key responsibilitiesYou will play an active part in the company's commercial development and contribute innovative ideas for business development across the company's entire product range. Next to this, you will have the following tasks:
- Checking the market about prospects and approaching them
- Cold-calls and marketing activities
- Monitoring the developments of existing and / or new prospects
- Proactively seek out additional loads in collaboration with the operational team.
- Generate new business and meet sales targets according to the KPIs set
- Develop relationships to gain a thorough understanding of the customer's requirements and to ensure that the customer's expectations are met and exceeded.
- Resolve customer issues where requested by colleagues and managers.
- Establish close working relationships with all key operations within the business.
- To understand the company's operational processes in accepting bookings through collection, shipment and delivery.
- Submit sales reports in respect of all customers, identifying all possible business opportunities.
- To keep the CRM updated with all information on new and existing clients
- To sell the organisation in the best way possible.
- Good command of English language and another European language
- Topographical knowledge
- Affinity with logistics and transport throughout Europe
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience preferably within a Multimodal and Road transport.
- Educated to a minimum of Bachelor level or equivalent, preferably in logistics
- Teamwork, accuracy
