If you wish to vibe with us, we are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Data Lead to set up a plan for this data empowerment journey and execute it, understanding the different sources of this data, keeping it consistent across different systems and helping generate relevant insights through the right tools and techniques.

You'll work closely with all technical and business teams to provide advanced data research and insights, using statistical methods and algorithms. Collect, architect, design and develop data-driven tools.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and implement the data management policies, data strategy and roadmap.
  • Execute the strategic vision of data squad governance processes in the organization.
  • Manage key decisions regarding data governance and coordinate with relevant business units to establish data.
  • Manage the intake and prioritization of requests and data squad backlog.
  • Structure unstructured data, clean & organize data to ensure data is accessible and helps product and business teams make data informed decisions.
  • Democratize data and empower teams with data, dashboards, and self-serve tools to generate insights needed to make data-informed decisions.
  • Manage Data Quality, Security and Privacy.
  • Create algorithms to extract information from large data sets & Maintain database to be used for analysis and insights.
  • Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and application of analytic insights.
  • Manipulate data through a variety of approaches, including exploratory analysis, scripting, and visualization.
  • Ensure legacy databases consolidation and separation of duties and define data structures by working with relative team members.
  • Lead & Train Data Squad Team, managing inhouse and outsourced contributors.
  • Manage overall relationship of analytics and reporting with different squads.

What Skills Do You Have:

  • BSc Or MSc in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Math, Statistics, or Engineering).
  • 3 - 5 years' experience with extracting and aggregating data from multiple sources (Big Data, conventional DBs) and different areas (AI/ML, digital, transactional, marketing…) using SQL or other tools.
  • 2 - 4 years' experience in data science roles with experience in Data Transformational projects a plus.
  • Business acumen, to understand what is important for the business and be able to convey complex information in an actionable way to people of various backgrounds.
  • Able to tell stories with data – both verbally and visually, helping teams move from ad-hoc analysis into continual data conversations.
  • Experience with mathematical and statistical data analysis techniques (such as regression, extrapolation, decision tree analysis, random walk, Monte-Carlo simulation, time series analysis, forecasting, statistical hypothesis testing and econometric models).
  • Significant proficiency in languages like Python, PySpark and/or R, with hands on experience with big data technologies:
