Sales Position

">
  1. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Account Manager to join our inside sales team.
  2. This position will play a crucial role in coordinating sales activities, sourcing aircraft parts, and managing customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Receive daily tasks from the sales department manager and follow up on customer RFQs (Request for Quotations).
  • Source RFQ items using database history, ILS, PartsBase, and other tools.
  • Organize cross-functional tasks with procurement, shipping, and sales coordinators.
  • Prepare and submit customer quotes daily using ERP software.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues related to rejected items, stock shortages, lead times, and other customer order concerns.
  • Manage the department in the absence of the sales manager.
  • Initially, this position will be remote, but flexibility to work in the office when needed is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of hardware and parts in the aviation industry and expertise in sourcing.
  • Previous experience in aviation brokering, MRO, or trading is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI (Quantum) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in a second or third language is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Flexible working hours to overlap with our California office when necessary.
  • Basic math skills related to percentages, profit margins, and pricing.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work within a team.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
