This role offers a unique opportunity to join our team as a Digital Media Content Scheduler, responsible for coordinating the scheduling of our digital media content across various platforms.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective content strategies, optimize broadcast schedules, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and managing daily broadcast schedules, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while meeting business objectives.

  2. Liasing with content teams to ensure smooth handovers, identify issues, and resolve them promptly, ensuring all elements air successfully and meet regulatory requirements.

  3. Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of broadcast templates, break patterns, and commercial loads, ensuring accurate execution and adaptability to changing circumstances.

  4. Collaborating with transmission teams to confirm playlist versions and implement necessary changes, ensuring seamless on-air performance.

  5. Performing daily reconciliation of presentation schedules, providing detailed reports and discrepancy analysis as required.

  6. Participating in regional scheduling teams' shift patterns, supporting commercial optimization, re-timings, and same-day resends of playlists.

  7. Assisting in ad-hoc presentation scheduling tasks assigned by the management team, fostering strong relationships with key contacts in Turkey and European offices.

  8. Cross-training to develop expertise across feeds and regions within the department, assisting with testing and implementation of new software developments and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Experience in free-to-air/commercial on-air scheduling, with a solid understanding of IBMS or similar scheduling systems.

  • Familiarity with the end-to-end broadcast chain, including regulatory bodies such as RTUK.

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and an excellent team player, capable of decision-making under pressure and maintaining high performance standards.

  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and intermediate proficiency in Turkish.

  • Attention to detail and structured problem-solving approach.

Key metrics for success include:

  • Daily transmission schedules delivered within deadlines and high levels of accuracy.

  • Independently resolving basic scheduling issues and commercial load errors.

  • Broad understanding of regional aspects of feeds and Channel priorities.

  • Successfully working with other departments to ensure timely delivery of schedules.

  • Proficiency in presentation scheduling functions across multiple channels.
