Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our team in Turkey. As a Lead IT Turkey, you will be responsible for coordinating IT tasks and serving as a liaison between business functions in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic business partner and advisor, utilizing IT skills in project management and process definition.
  • Focus on active vendor liaisons to ensure regional procurement involvement and secure cost optimization.
  • Support the business strategies and link them to the IT strategies at the country level, ensuring business continuity is in focus.
  • Assist with AOP planning and budget for local IT in cooperation with management, aligning with regional strategy and local requirements.
  • Support and follow the purchase of country and regional IT needs through the creation of purchase orders.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • 7+ years of successful technical experience in a variety of IT disciplines, gaining a conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
  • Experience working with multi-platform environments and understanding their operational, security, and social considerations.
  • A successful track record of coordinating joint IT/Business teams through various life-cycle phases (cross-functional experience strongly desired).
  • Good understanding of standard financial principles and budgeting.

Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of the IT field and business, with in-depth knowledge of several specialty areas (process or service line).
  • Very good business principles, such as budgeting, business case development, procurement, associate relations/associate development, financial analysis, requirements specifications, and Quality Assurance.
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, and establish change initiatives to meet business needs. Good general knowledge of Project Management and alignment with Global PMO initiatives.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, capable of establishing and monitoring informal/formal & internal/external communication networks.
  • General knowledge of BU processes, with necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate team efforts toward accomplishing a common goal. Ability to resolve highly complex issues by creating alternative solutions.
  • Good understanding of IT Infrastructure areas like hosting, telecom, mobile telephony, or printing.
