We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our global client operating in the automotive supply industry. This role will be based in a region with significant economic growth.

**Qualifications and Requirements**

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial controlling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial analysis, and IFRS is essential.
  • Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS, working closely with the Controlling department.
  • Organize and streamline workflows within the accounting department to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage all income, expenses, revenues, and costs.
  • Oversee and manage accounts payable and fixed asset accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and oversee financial systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for financial authorities, auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
  • E nsure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, payroll taxes, income tax, and corporate tax.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses for internal and external purposes.
  • Manage provisions, accruals, and the preparation of the fixed asset register.
  • Plan and monitor liquidity, ensuring proper organization of payment transactions.
