io Environmental Solutions R&D Co. is a cutting-edge consultancy at the forefront of environmental engineering since 2004. Our talented team of experts, located in the heart of İTU ARI Teknokent and our Ankara liaison office, is dedicated to pioneering smart solutions in water efficiency, wastewater treatment and recovery systems, circular economy, and climate resilience and water resources management at river basin scales.  We collaborate with industrial clients, organized industrial zones (OIZs), contractors, and public institutions, as well as EU- and IFI-funded projects in Türkiye and abroad.


Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a Business Development Specialist who thrives at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and client relations — someone eager to expand our impact across Türkiye and international markets. In this role, you will:

Identify and pursue business opportunities with industrial clients, OIZs, and contractors,

·    
Lead and support proposal preparation for national and international (EU, IFI, donor-funded) projects,

·    
Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships,

·    
Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions for customer needs,

·    
Conduct market research and competitive analyses to guide business strategy,

·    
Represent io Environmental Solutions in industry events and stakeholder meetings.


What You Bring

·    
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. Having a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is an advantage.

·    
Around 5 years of experience in business development, marketing, project sales, or proposal preparation,

·    
Proven experience in industrial projects, Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ), or contractor engagements,

·    
Knowledge of public procurement, EU tendering, or IFI-funded project procedures,

·    
Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills,

·    
Proficiency in English (written & verbal) and MS Office tools,

·    
A proactive, team-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
