As Cornerstone Türkiye, we are partnering with a global client in the manufacturing industry to hire a Senior Financial Accounting & Reporting Specialist to join the Finance team based in Gebze Organized Sanayi Bölgesi.

This role will report into the Finance Manager and will take an active role across general accounting, cost accounting, tax, inventory, and management reporting in a growing industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all finance and accounting processes are carried out in full compliance with local legislation and internal policies.
  • Implement and maintain accounting control mechanisms to safeguard company assets.
  • Monitor the accuracy of accounting records and ensure that all supporting documents are properly archived.
  • Control and book purchase invoices, returns, collections, payments and journal entries in a complete and timely manner.
  • Follow up inventory and fixed assets, ensuring that records and reconciliations are maintained in line with regulations.
  • Track customs expenses and post them to the accounts on time.
  • Perform regular reconciliations with domestic customers and suppliers.
  • Analyse production, sales, marketing and overhead expenses, share reports with relevant departments and contribute cost-saving suggestions.
  • Monitor production costs and operational expenses, analysing budget vs. actual variances.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, financial analyses and management reports.
  • Take an active role in monthly and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree from a relevant department (Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting, cost accounting, tax legislation and the uniform chart of accounts.
  • Experience (or strong interest) in financial control, financial analysis, budgeting and reporting.
  • Advanced user of MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP is a strong asset.
  • Very good command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, with strong reporting and documentation skills.
  • Disciplined in follow-up, planning and prioritisation, comfortable working with deadlines.
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills.
