Government Relations Manager Job Description at Yandex in Turkey

Foster strong relationships with government entities, monitor regulatory developments, and ensure strategic alignment with local policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Handle data integration projects and ensure technical compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • GR Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a comprehensive GR strategy that supports Yandex's business objectives in Turkey.
  • Policy Monitoring: Track government policies affecting the IT sector and deliver actionable insights for favorable conditions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including ministries, embassies, and IT regulators, to advocate for Yandex's interests.
Key Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of Turkey's legislative and regulatory landscape in the IT sector.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Skills in aligning corporate strategies with government policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Fluency in Turkish and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working with government entities.
  • Technical degree or expertise.
