We're looking for a Human Resources Specialist who is able to work on flexible working hours with his/her manager in the United States, for our client.

Responsibilities
  • Minimum 5 years experience in HR functions, especially in recruitment and training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and reporting skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Reliability, sense of responsibility, and a can-do mindset.
  • Eager to learn in an international environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle various tasks at the same time.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Maintain compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations; review and update company policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Assist executive management, both in Turkey and the US, in developing and executing workforce strategies.
  • Support timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Implement and maintain the HRIS system, employee files, personnel data, and records.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Assist with employee performance management and annual reviews.
  • Take initiatives to increase employee morale through employee engagement programs.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory trainings, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Recruit, interview, and facilitate recruitment of qualified job applicants for open positions as needed; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, acquire reference checks, and implement & conduct new hire orientation as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
