Job Description

Responsibilities
  1. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Support payroll activities and reporting to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely in liaison with the provider.
  2. HR Process Management: Be responsible for all payroll processes, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes, including updates to employee files.
  3. Talent Acquisition: Responsible for recruitment (blue and white collar) and employer branding activities.
  4. Onboarding and Exit Processes: Handle and maintain all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
  5. HR Projects: Contribute to HR projects.
  6. Legal Compliance: Follow and apply legal developments & laws in HR subjects. Participate in the development of relevant HR rules and regulations in the organization.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement actions & KPIs.
  8. New Hire Experience: Prepare paperwork and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
  9. Employee Relations: Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees covering absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field.
  2. Experience: 6 years of experience as HR Generalist / Payroll officer.
  3. Knowledge and Skills: Very good knowledge of Turkey (Izmir free trade zone) labor law, social security, and tax aspects. Positive, proactive, action-oriented. Good communication and a high sense of confidentiality. Strategic thinker with a strong attention to detail.
  4. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Turkish.
  5. Additional Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness with a problem solver approach. Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems when necessary.
