We are a dynamic and growing company operating in various sectors, seeking a seasoned Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead and elevate the HR function.
The CHRO will be responsible for organizational development, career and talent management, workforce planning, and labor relations to drive business success. This role requires a strong understanding of the intersection of business strategy and HR practices.
Responsibilities:
- Organizational Development: Design and implement organizational development strategies to enhance performance, engagement, and sustainability.
- Oversee talent management programs, including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
- Develop and implement a merit-based performance management system, driving transparency, accountability, and professional growth.
Employee Engagement:
- Cultivate a high-performance, employee-centric culture fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, including full and pulse surveys, data analysis, and targeted action plans to enhance retention and job satisfaction.
- Ensure diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace practices reflect best DEI principles.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Develop competitive compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring pay structures align with industry benchmarks.
- Oversee annual performance review and merit increase process, driving equity and fairness across the organization.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and workforce regulations.
Union Relations:
- Negotiate union contracts and labor relations with a balanced approach, ensuring alignment between business objectives and workforce needs.
- Foster open communication and engagement at all levels, acting as a bridge between blue-collar and white-collar employees.
- Establish proactive conflict resolution mechanisms, prioritizing a people-first mindset in employee relations.
Operational Excellence:
- Optimize HR operations, processes, and policies for efficiency, scalability, and business agility.
- Manage HR budget effectively, investing in technology, learning programs, and workforce development initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership to ensure staffing strategies align with expansion plans and future growth initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Seasoned HR executive with 10+ years of senior leadership experience in industrial, automotive, or manufacturing environments.
- A strategic thinker with hands-on approach, capable of leading both big-picture HR transformation and day-to-day operational execution.
- Proven track record in union relations, labor negotiations, and workforce planning for blue-collar employees.
- Adept at talent management, organizational development, and leadership coaching.
- Data-driven decision-maker skilled in leveraging workforce insights to shape policies and drive business impact.
- Strong communicator and collaborator able to influence stakeholders at all levels, from executives to frontline employees.
