Burckhardt Compression is seeking a skilled Sales Specialist to support our team in driving quality and EOHS topics locally. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our products and services and supporting our team in achieving our goals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting our products and services through various channels such as mailing, advertising, and phone calls.
  • Assisting in the development of the annual plan and realistic forecasts for each product and territory based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, and sales effort.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Manage the assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues and meet objectives.
  • Develop the business plan and promote our organization's presence throughout the region while carrying out market reviews.
  • Prepare and coordinate price quotations, technical offers, and order confirmations while checking them against purchase orders.

QMS (Quality Management System) / EOHS related tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Creating QMS/EOHS related sub-documents as required and keeping them up to date.
  • Ensuring only safety-compliant work equipment and PPE are used as intended.
  • Recording, clarifying, and documenting accidents and near-misses.
  • Maintaining a high level of consciousness about Q/EOHS concepts and issues.
  • Participating in toolbox talks, mock drills, and safety walks with other employees.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business administration, or relevant fields, or equivalent job experience (minimum 5 years in case of a lack of degree).
  • A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in industrial equipment sales, preferably with experience in aftersales operations.
  • Technical/commercial knowledge or professional background in rotating equipment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must. Being a Turkish native speaker and knowledge of another foreign language (preferably Russian) is a plus.
  • Customer mindset, business acumen, and market understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multinational environment.
  • A proactive, self-disciplined, target-oriented, trustworthy, and loyal personality.
  • No military obligation for male candidates.
  • A valid driving license (class B) and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis.
