About the Role
This Senior Business Development Manager role within Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) Team of Retail Business Services requires a highly skilled professional to shape and deliver on a strategy for managing Amazon AVS vendors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and partnership-building skills, enabling them to establish long-term partnerships with key vendor partners.
You will work closely with multiple internal teams to optimize the product line for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon. This involves leveraging a wide range of skills and expertise to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon.
In this role, you will focus on operational aspects of managing customer relationships with our vendors. You will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to grow vendor traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon. Additionally, you will analyze vendor issues and implement recommendations and action plans to improve vendor experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners.
- Collaborate with the Retail Category Team to drive business growth and improve vendor performance.
- Create and execute joint business plans that deliver on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for vendors and Amazon.
- Analyze vendor issues and develop recommendations and action plans to improve vendor experience.
- Measure success through vendor performance on input metrics and impact on creating a great customer experience.
- Conduct regular business reviews and meetings with vendors to discuss performance and build action plans.
