Job Description
The Research and Partnerships Development Specialist will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on the role of the private sector in achieving sustainable development goals. The successful candidate will provide support to the development of partnerships with private sector organizations, civil society groups, and other stakeholders.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on the role of the private sector in achieving sustainable development goals
- Provide research, writing, and editing support on issues related to the role of the private sector in skills development
- Support the creation and maintenance of partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Assist in the organization of conferences, workshops, and other events
- Contribute to the design and implementation of initiatives, projects, or programmes
- Prepare relevant communications materials, including speeches, brochures, success stories, and social media materials
- Collaborate on the development and execution of online content, including images, infographics, videos, and blogs
- Provide basic administrative support on an as-needed basis
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent writing and analytical skills, as well as strong communication skills
- Ability to manage workload with minimum supervision and collaborate with a wide range of colleagues while meeting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen and collaborate with a wide range of players, work independently, and take initiative
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Computer proficiency in MS Office

Location
This internship is located in Istanbul, Türkiye, and requires a 100% home-based work arrangement. The selected candidate will not be required to travel to the duty station.
Language Requirements
The official language of the United Nations is English. Fluency in English is required for this internship, and fluency in Turkish is an asset.
