About This Opportunity

CHEP Brambles Limited is a pioneer in the supply chain industry, and we are seeking an experienced Sales Expansion Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major and key customers for retention and growth within a specific category.

Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of key customers
  • Exploring new opportunities to expand the sales funnel in the specific category
  • Negotiating new offers with prospects, submitting offers, and carrying out the entire sales cycle
  • Protecting and developing existing customer revenue in line with country growth targets
  • Leading lane expansion growth beyond existing businesses
  • Building networks and relationships with stakeholders at all levels within customer organizations
  • Driving improved customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Developing and driving strategic relationships with major customer portfolios
  • Establishing and maintaining smooth communication platforms between local business and EKA teams
  • Preparing and presenting large account management plans for senior management review
  • Investigating and assessing transport collaboration opportunities where possible
  • Leading contract negotiations and renewals with customers
  • Executing audit programs in line with CHEP's annual audit plan
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

Essential Skills
  • Minimum 5-6 years experience in a customer-facing, field-based role
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or similar
  • Strong negotiation, customer communications, commercial negotiation, and project management skills
